Customization Types
Outfit & Hairstyle ChoiceYou can customize the outfit or hairstyle of the character simply by replying with the selection to your Order Confirmation e-mail. You may switch any of the pre-set outfits / hairs with another character's in the Standard (Non-Custom) Avatars (as long as they are gender-compliant), this can be done for both Pre-Set Avatars or an SCA.
You may pick any of the various characters that have the outfit or hairstyle you want by default, and list them in the response. You can also list these additional specifications on the character chosen:

Standard Customized Avatar (SCA)This is a character that uses a base character system to manually adjust generic features such as facial dimensions, body shape, etc. It can only go so far to achieve a near-look to the individual. Note that: only generic hairstyles are available for this option - meaning the styles on the standard avatars.
However, in most cases, it is a good fit and done with great care to detail, as much as technically possible. Thus, this is the most cost-effective option to be able to customize your character, if you don't need an exact perfect replica or have unique features (e.g. a face tattoo). Make sure to also define which standard outfit and hairstyle your SCA should use - as per the instructions here. |
Fully Tailored (Photo-Realistic) 3D ModelThis option is a whole separate 3D Model as a project by itself.
A photo-realistic character is created using the highest-fidelity mesh for the model, sculpted exactly to body dimensions and textured with the actual reference images provided to create a perfect virtual replica of the intended individual. This includes creating a model of any outfit that is requested. You may only request one outfit - if you want more outfits you can purchase new 3D models for each. This option also includes any imaginary non-human character. Instead of the facial shots for the reference attachments, pictures of the fictional character are provided to create a perfect model. |
Pre-Set (Standard) AvatarsThe Pre-Set Avatars are the selection of different races, builds, and looks of pre-made characters that can be used for free, as well as having their outfit or hairstyle switched with any of the other characters, hair/eye/skin colours defined, and weight adjusted. They include a variety of different looks for both male and female genders.

Reusing Previous Customizations
Previous Customizations Can Be Re-Used
The studio automatically keeps customized avatars, SCA or Full 3D Model - complimentary for any future use.
If you purchased one of these options, you can simply re-use the same avatar for all visualizers from that point forward - completely free.
To re-use a previously purchased avatar, simply pick any of the free options during checkout, and once you receive your Order Confirmation email - reply with the original order number that had the customization.

Customization Requirements
To proceed with a customized order, reply to the Order Confirmation E-Mail with the following required attachments:

- Clear Frontal Shot of Head/Face
- Clear Side Shot of Head/Face
- Clear Full-Body Shot of Person
- Optional: Intended Outfit Picture, otherwise the outfit worn in the Full-Body Shot is used.
- Clear Full-Body Shot of Character
- Optional: Full-Body Shots at different angles or Close-Ups, up to max 4. The more pictures you provide the more accurate.
If the above required attachments are not provided, the order is invalid and not processed.
For Standard Adjustments (Optional)
- Any traits you are adjusting and which standard character that option is on (i.e. Commando's Hairstyle, Tyron's Outfit, blue eye colour).
